Thermostats & RegulatorsLoud Screeching or Vibrating Fan
A harsh buzzing or screeching sound occurs when convection fan motor bearings dry out or fan blades become warped from heat.
Convection Fan MotorDoor Won't Close / Heat Escaping

Oven Repair Questions
Common questions about elements, fan noises, repair costs, and safety.
Why is my oven fan running and light on, but there is no heat?
This is the classic symptom of a failed circular fan forced element. When the internal resistance wire inside the element burns through, the fan and thermostat lights continue operating, but no heat is generated. Our technician can replace this element in under 45 minutes using genuine parts carried in our van.
Is it worth repairing an oven or replacing it?
Replacing a built-in oven requires expensive custom carpentry modifications, licensed electrical disconnection and reconnection, and disposal of the old heavy appliance, often costing over $1,500–$3,500. Repairing common faults like elements, fans, hinges, or thermostats costs significantly less and extends your oven's service life for years.
Why does my oven trip the house safety switch when turned on?
When an electric heating element develops a microscopic fracture in its outer casing, moisture and electrical current leak to earth, instantly tripping your safety switch (RCD). This is a safety feature protecting you from electric shock. Replacing the faulty element solves the problem safely.
What warranties are provided on oven repairs?
All our oven repairs include up to 12 months warranty on replacement elements, thermostats, fan motors, and labor, and up to 24 months warranty on new unit installations.
